Kanye vs. The Grammy's, yet again

Kanye's Opinion too Brutal or the TRUTH?

Yet again Kanye pulls off another media scandal this past weekend in the Grammy's by going on stage "jokingly", to interrupt Beck's Album of the Year speech. Just like a few years ago with Taylor Swift. It just so happens that Kanye's joke wasn't really a joke... As interviewed after the Grammy's Kanye confesses that he was serious about going on stage and wanting to state his opinion about Beyonce should have receiving that award.

Kanye's argument was that the artistry wasn't being respected, and I could see what he is referring too he wants credit acknowledged where it is due. Back in 2007 at the Hip Hop Awards, Kanye won Best Video for "Stronger". He felt as he didn't deserve that award and acknowledged that he thought UGK and Outkast should have won. Now taking a look at both Beck's & Beyonce's albums, I feel that Beyone's album had more of an artistic approach other than Beck's...

1. No PROMOTION, dropped in the middle of the night
2. 17 Music Videos, all filmed in different places around the world
3. Introduced a new style for her, R&B + adult contemporary "drinking watermelon" + pop

But let's face it Kanye gets back lashed for stating his opinion & probably the truth... When a rock album is up for running it most likely always takes the win...

"In 2011, Arcade Fire won Album of the Year over Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and Lady Antebellum. In 2000, Santana beat the Backstreet Boys, TLC, the Dixie Chicks, and Diana Krall. From 1986–1988, a string of rock performances (U2, Phil Collins, Paul Simon) beat out pop stars like Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Sting."(McKinney)

Due to it being Kanye to speak on this, like he does so many issues in our society he is the one who gets bad mouthed and being labeled as "crazy". NO he is just not scared to say what he observes!
