Two Sides to Every Story #RIPAFRICA

Homeless man killed in the streets of DTLA, home of Skid Row

                                        
This past week a homeless man, nicknamed "Africa" by friends, was killed by LAPD police officer after being involved in a altercation with several officers in Downtown Los Angeles.

Now it has been reported that the officer that shot was trying to protect himself due to the fact that "Africa" was reaching for his gun after being tazed. The reason this news story is becoming controversial and a big deal to the community is due to the incidents that keep occurring with police killing people.

We all remember the body cams that police are suppose to wear, now those videos aren't being allowed to view to the public yet. Could the police possibly be hiding something?  But there are two videos from civilians during the incident that have been shown in the news lately with two different angles of the shooting.

Society quickly jumps into conclusions because we tend to believe police continue to kill minorities without a solid reason when it could probably be gone about a different way. This turned into another protest for the people with supporting #blacklivesmatter.
Here's another thought... Just because the man was a homeless did LAPD think his life didnt matter? Or that he had no family to care about his death? Well he did, now he has a whole community out in the streets protesting and giving him the proper respect just like ALL LIVES, cause ALL LIVES MATTER!

In these type of situations police have their story and the victims have another...
